Book a table without making the call

Tell your agent where and when. It calls the restaurant, asks for the table, and tells you what they said. You see what it will say before it calls.

The short answer

Restaurants answer the phone when they are busy, and so are you. Ask your fone.me agent: it calls, asks for a table, and tells you the answer.

Ask in a sentence

Tap + then Call for me, or say it in the chat: "Call this restaurant and ask for a table for two on Saturday at 7:30." You see what your agent will say first, then tap Call.

What happens on the call

  • Your agent says who it is, asks for the table, listens, and answers questions such as the name for the booking.
  • It passes you what the restaurant said: confirmed, a different time, or full.
  • If it reaches voicemail, it leaves your message after the beep.

You confirm

If the restaurant offers a different time, your agent asks you before it agrees. It never commits you to something you did not approve.

Questions

Will the restaurant know it is an agent? Yes. It always says it is your assistant calling for you, and that the call is transcribed.

Does it work abroad? It can call most countries, between 8 am and 9 pm in their time. Type the number with + and the country code. International calls use more of your calling minutes.

Do I need Premium? Calls go out from your own fone.me number, which comes with Premium. Without one, your agent can write a WhatsApp message for you to send yourself.
