An AI that makes the call for you
Ask your agent to book a table, get a quote or move an appointment. It calls or texts, tells you how it went, and asks you first before it spends anything.
The short answer
Some calls are not worth your time: a table for Saturday, a quote from a plumber, moving an appointment. Ask your fone.me agent in a sentence and it makes the call or sends the message, then tells you how it went.
How you ask
Tap + then Call for me, or say it in the chat: "Call this number and tell them dinner is at 8." You see what your agent will say first, then tap Call.
What it does on the call
- Has a real conversation, not a read-out message: it says who it is, tells them what you wanted in its own words, listens and answers.
- Passes anything they say back to you.
- If it reaches voicemail, it waits for the beep and leaves your message.
- Asks you before it spends money.
Limits you should know
- Calls go out between 8 am and 9 pm in the other person's time.
- Calls use your calling minutes (Premium); international calls use more per minute.
- It always says it is your assistant calling for you, and that the call is transcribed.
- Without a fone.me number it can still write a WhatsApp message for you to send yourself.
Questions
Can it call any number? Any number you ask it to call: mobiles, landlines and most countries, between 8 am and 9 pm their time. Type numbers with + and the country code for other countries.
Will people know it is an agent? Yes. It always says it is your assistant calling for you, and that the call is transcribed.
Which number do the calls come from? Your own fone.me number, so people can call you back. It comes with Premium.
